Horseback Trip Itinerary

14 DAY HORSEBACK TRIP ITINERARY

DAY 1: Fly Smithers to Base Camp

DAY 2: Get aquatinted with horses and get supplies ready

DAY 3: Pack up horses and ride 1-2 hours to Spike Camp #1 Spend the night

DAY 4: Ride 4-5 hours to Spike Camp #2 spend one night

DAY 5: Ride 3-4 hours to Cabin Camp #1 spend 3 nights

DAY 5-7: Spend 3 nights at Cabin Camp #1 fishing, hiking, exploring

DAY 8: Ride 3-4 hours to Spike Camp #3 spend one night

DAY 9: Ride 3-4 hours to Spike Camp #4 spend one to two nights

DAY 10: Ride 3-4 hours to Cabin Camp # 2

DAY 10-13: Spend 3 nights at Cabin Camp# 3 fishing, hiking & exploring

DAY 14: Fly Cabin Camp #3 to Base Camp, Fly Base Camp to Smithers

 

(Daily schedule all depends on weather and clients, if we need to make a spike camp in between camps because of weather or fatigue we will do so) If we need to spend an extra day at a cabin camp to dry clothes and rest we will do so)

 

WHATS INCLUDED IN A 14 DAY HORSEBACK TRIP
-Flight from Smithers to Base Camp with Alpine Lakes Air (Float Plane)
-Two float plane flights with Fresh Air Aviation
-Horseback Guide
-All meals and accommodations while in camp with us
-Medium sized bath towel + Face cloth for each client
-Tents for spike camps
-Water filter (packed by guide)
-Three different cabin accommodations along the way
-Fishing Licences
-Use of fishing gear at cabin camps
-All Fees & Taxes

NOT INCLUDED IN 14 DAY HORSEBACK TRIP
-All meals and accommodations incurred before reaching and after leaving Claw Mountain Outfitters Camps
-Personal Outdoor Equipment (Sleeping Bag, daypack, hiking boots, camp shoes Rain gear and hiking clothing,) Toiletries (Toothbrush etc)
